For an Emergency, Dial 911

Any material that is hazardous can eventually become a hazardous waste when discarded improperly. Hazardous materials pose a risk to people or to the environment. You might think that our area is subject to hazardous materials only from trucks passing through carrying manufacturing raw materials to the end user, but how about the potential hazardous materials in your own home?  Proper and wise use of household hazardous materials is imperative.  Another potentially serious local hazardous material threat is an operating or abandoned Illegal drug lab.

Who do you call if you suspect the release of hazardous materials?  Just Dial 911
